Over the years we women have desired less and less hair on their bodies. Shaving, which is the traditional method, just doesn’t give us the silky smooth finish we prefer. However, hot wax hair removal can give professional grade results that we crave. Increasingly this simple method has become the number one way to remove hair leaving the skin soft and supple.
With all of the other hair removal products on the market some may wonder why on earth hot wax hair removal has stood the test of time. There are a number of benefits to this method but it does have some downsides as well. You may find that some of the new approaches just don’t stand up to the inexpensive wax removal systems used over the years. We all know that shaving is a real drag, I can’t count how many times I have cut myself and of course, the bleeding never seems to stop.
The most annoying thing when you cut yourself with a razor is the fact that it will happen right before you have an appointment. Wax removal is much safer with almost zero chance of a cut and it lasts longer too! Another advantage of hot wax hair removal is that your hair, when it returns, gets thinner every time. So the more often I wax, the less hair returns which is fine by me; something a shaver cannot promise!
Of course once you start shaving, the hair just seems to grow back thicker, quite the opposite of the wax system. There is a little pain with the hot wax hair removal system but nowhere near as much as many people would have you believe.
Unless you are a devout masochist, I would suggest you stay clear of this tiny but painful instrument. A long time ago when they first came out I was foolish enough to try one but I threw it away within a few seconds of using it, it just wasn’t worth the pain.
One of my college friends was born in India and knew about hot wax hair removal so suggested I try it with her the next time she went. I bet if you try it too, you’ll be convinced and won’t go back to the other painful methods. The reputation wax removal has for causing some discomfort really is unfounded. I think it is an undeserved reputation when you consider the alternative solutions.
