With the way times are changing, more and more people are finding themselves using technology to express their feelings and thoughts. More people seem to want to text message someone instead of picking up the phone. And even more people prefer to email rather then write a letter or place a phone call to someone.
With so much change, it is no surprise that advancements in technology are spilling over to other aspects of our lives including how we express ourselves during festive occasions.
So we can blame technology for the fact that more and more people are now opting to send a happy easter ecard this year rather than the more traditional physical easter card.
The happy easter ecard is something that is just like a regular card but it is sent through email. Some seem plain and simply and yet to the point while others can get a little over the top.
Paper easter cards are stagnant and one dimensional, whereas happy easter ecards can be dynamic and exciting often containing video clips and clever little jokes and animations that can be cool to receive in your inbox.
The Downfall Of Ecards
You may send a loved one a happy easter ecard with good intentions, only to get completely the opposite response – they hated it!
You can understand why, a happy easter ecard will be buried in a ton of other junk email you may get that day, whilst a traditional paper card can be a keepsake for many years.
With an ecard you may also give off the impression that the person does not matter enough to you to send them anything other then a happy easter ecard. This is something that you are going to want to really consider so that you do not accidentally make anyone upset or make hurt feelings.
Of course, if that is the message that you are trying to get across then that is the perfect way to do it. This is not to say that everyone who receives a happy easter ecard from you is going to think that you do not care, but it seems that even though this route is becoming more popular, people still enjoy getting regular cards through the mail.
You will know best whether your relationship with someone lends itself to an ecard or whether you have to bite the bullet and send them a real one.
