Paying For Your Wedding Party and Unique Wedding Favors

Due to technological advancement and completion there are very many ways to settle your wedding party and unique wedding favors tab. Many stores prefer cash payments form it reduces the hassle of claiming the money from the payment agents as banks and credit card companies. In the latter there is a delay for the companies have to process the payments which could take days. In cash payments there are not extra charges incurred by the seller and the couple buying as account maintenance fees or interests. Cash payments also allow one to carry the goods home on the same day.

If the wedding is abit far onto the future the brides and the groom may opt to give checks. The seller will bank the check and commence the processing of the order once the cash is remitted into his account. This could take about a week maximum. Most suppliers will not take personal checks and prefer bankers checks especially if they are not well familiar with the buyer. The couple should take care and ensure that their account has enough money to avoid the bouncing of checks. If the check bounces the seller will lose confidence with you and add the charges on his account to your bill if not sue you.

Another way of clearing the favors bill is to use the credit cards. The wedding couple may pay for the favors using their cards if their ceiling amount allows and sort out the credit company later. This method is very useful especially if buying online. Many online merchants accept most of the major credit cards thus the chances are that one of you cards will be accepted. But the safest method in this group is the use of debit cards where it is like paying cash without creating any debt. These cards are prepaid hence it is your money that you spend.

Credit card payments have become very popular today. This is due to its elimination of carrying cash with you which is prone to be lost through theft or misplacement. Some credit card companies encourage spending by negotiating discounts with the suppliers which is then given to the card holder. Also the ability to spend with necessarily having cash is also an advantage. The use of credit cards for buying favors and other items should be disciplined to avoid over burdening yourself with debts. The disadvantage of this method is that it leads on to have impulse buying which is not healthy to your finances.

As competition rages suppliers have come to include other formerly unconsidered methods of payments; as trade- in where the customer brings an item to pay for another. You can offer an item as you television to pay for your wedding party and unique wedding favors. You will both value and agree on the amount it is worth and the customer is either added or adds cash to reach the cost of the gifts. In other cases there is exchange for gifts with other goods or services; barter trade. The couple gives the supplier a service of goods of value to him hence he responds with the favors.
