Many people think that men are more likely to cheat on women. But studies have shown that the reverse is also true and just as common. If you even have the slightest thought that you may be a victim of cheating, don’t pass up the chance to find out if your girlfriend is cheating on you. Just because you think your relationship is rock solid and you trust your girlfriend 100% is no reason to brush your concerns off as paranoia.
This does not mean that every girl who flirts with another guy will sleep with that guy. Indeed most females will not take it past that stage, but it is still the cause of many arguments and accusations in a lot of relationships. With that said, the following points might help you find out how to tell if your girlfriend is cheating.
1) You find unexpected or flashy additions to your girlfriends clothing collection. Once upon a time she only used to buy really nice clothes on special occasions like weddings or your high school formal. Now you find her wearing a new outfit on an almost weekly basis and when you ask her about it, she passes it off as trying to make herself more appealing to you. The reality is, she is making herself more appealing, but not for you necessarily. Are you any closer on how to tell if your girlfriend is cheating yet?
2) Is your girlfriend driving more than usual? Check the mileage in the car in case there are a few hundred miles that are unaccounted for. With the prevalence of internet and online dating, cheating girlfriends may be more inclined to drive long distances to meet online hookups.
3) You find an old receipt lying around the house, it was for 2 movie tickets to a movie you don’t remember seeing at a cinema you don’t remember going to. If you can’t prove that she went with a girlfriend then you might have a dilemma that needs further investigation. While you are at it, check all the receipts you can get your hands on by any means necessary for suspicious transactions.
4) Is she taking money out of your wallet for things like gas, or a new pair of shoes or the latest CD? You ask yourself why she feels the need, since she has her own job and reliable income. Hint: her funds are being channeled elsewhere and you must take action on how to tell if your girlfriend is cheating right away.
5) You snatch a quick glance at her cell phone bill and realize it is about 5 times as much as yours is for the month. You then scroll through all of the dialed/received calls and text messages and see one number that pops up time and time again. You may recognize it straight off the bat and instantly know that this person is getting way too close. Alternatively, you could dial the number yourself and give your potential enemy the roasting of a life time. Warning: not for the faint-hearted!
It would still not be advisable, however, to talk to your girlfriend about any concerns you may have until you really know in your mind that there is no other explanation for her actions. An accusation of cheating is a big one to make in any relationship, and as such requires a degree of research so that if you do confront her, she doesn’t have a leg to stand on and cannot possibly defend her actions.
