How to Lose Your Tummy and Keep Your Outlook Sunny

Losing the pregnancy weight can be hard especially when there are so many diet schemes out there. Sometimes stereotypes make the most sense such as: size does matter or quality over quantity! These two stereotypes are famous but that’s because they are effective when you’re trying to trim your tummy!

Size is important:

You can’t eat out anywhere anymore without coming across a menu that super sizes everything. You can get more fries; more cheese, more bacon or you can have bottomless drinks and extra large sizes. You can order food around midnight at a drive through window or you can get take out until the early morning. It isn’t easy to sit down to a well-portioned meal which is the key to losing your tummy.

With portion sizing you can control and balance your caloric intake. In this way you will see if you are missing your protein or eating too many greens. Portion sizing helps you to eat what you want but in moderation. You can have some carbs and a serving of sugar like toast and honey as long as you balance it.

Faster is better:

This might look like an out of place stereotype but sometimes our cardio routines can become tedious and counter productive. Instead of hours (quantity) on the Stairmaster it will benefit you more to do some quick (quality) interval training. Lose your tummy by doing short bursts of cardio that increase your metabolic rate and strengthen your heart.

The classic pyramid method is one of the easiest to get that quality workout experience. Starting out with a simple walk then a light jog switching to a speedy sprint and back down again will get you where you need to be in losing the pregnancy weight.

New moms are barraged with new diets and fad exercise schemes but sometimes the old stereotypes apply when trying to lose your tummy. Don’t get stuck with expensive gym bills or complicated recipe diet books when all you need is a well-designed meal plan and an organized exercise schedule!
