Who was Don Juan? More than a bit of fiction, he was a seducer who truly loved every woman he seduced. This Spaniards gift was the ability to see a woman’s beauty beyond the physical and the value of every woman.
This made him one of the most memorable and romanticized characters of Spanish literature.
Though Don Juan was the “love them and leave them” type of man, it was not because he sought to use women for his own selfish purposes – it was because every woman he came across had some feature or trait to fall in love with. He truly could not help himself – when he met a new woman, his old love would be forgotten.
When you apply the lessons of Don Juan to modern day men, there is a lot that can be used to seduce the woman of your choice.
First and foremost is that every woman has something about her that is beautiful – be it a physical characteristic, her intellect, an attitude or outlook on life – no woman is completely irredeemable.
In your dealings with women, if you try to find things that you adore about them, even if you aren’t attracted to them. Do this, and you can seduce any woman out there.
Don Juan was also a romantic. He believed in love and romance. Too many men nowadays have forgotten the art of being romantic. All women crave romance (the proof of this is in how popular romance novels are!), and if you can be the man to help deliver that to them, you will stand out above the rest.
Be chivalrous. Open the door for her. Pull out her chair. Treat her to a nice dinner. Compliment her and make her feel good. All this goes towards being romantic.
Be up front about your intentions. Don’t hide the fact that you find a woman attractive or fascinating. Let her know you are intrigued by her and attracted to her – but do so in a charming way.
The wrong way to do this is the way so many guys often do. They say things like “Dang, you look FINE,” or “You are so HOT!” But these are hollow compliments, and girls put little stock in them. But if you say things like “My God, you have amazing eyes,” or “You carry yourself with such grace, that’s so attractive,” or even “Your smile lights up the room,” you might be surprised to find how well women respond to this.
Finally, Don Juan never made any apologies for his desires. This is what made him such an effective seducer. When he became aroused by a woman, he would pursue that feeling. He would not worry about possibly offending the woman, or being politically correct, or even getting rejected. Instead he would go after what he wanted, and nothing would stop him – not even jealous husbands!
Don’t misunderstand the message here. I’m not advocating chasing a married woman. Just don’t be ashamed of your desires, however. If you want a woman, go ahead and pursue her doggedly.
The women on this planet who want to be swept off their feet by a man are legion. With some practice, that man could be you!
